Exploring Gràcia: Barcelona’s Colorful, Artistic, and Vegan-Friendly Gem
When you visit Barcelona, there is one neighborhood you simply can’t miss – Gràcia. Famous for its vibrant alleys, historic charm, and eclectic architecture, Gràcia has a special allure that draws in visitors with its hidden gems and artistic flair. You can easily spend a few hours or even days wandering this bohemian neighborhood, discovering the nooks and crannies that make it so unique.
Today, I spent a lovely day exploring Gràcia and indulging in some of its finest vegan spots. Here’s a look at my day:
Morning Brunch at Botanic
We started with brunch at Botanic , where the menu is a haven for vegan foodies. I had a delicious “ricotta” and basil toast, followed by their signature falafel benedict – a unique twist on classic brunch dishes! We sipped on fresh orange juice, fueling up for a day of exploration.

Sweet Treats and Coffee Break
While strolling through the winding streets of Gràcia, we stumbled upon an amazing pastry shop called La Besneta. It was tough to choose from their delicious offerings, but we decided on a chocolate-filled croissant and alfajores, perfect alongside our coffee.

Dinner at El Rabipelao Veggie
As evening set in, we stopped by El Rabipelao Veggie, a lively spot with Latin-inspired flavors. We shared a flavorful platter with a variety of Latin dishes and, of course, had to try their arepas. To top it all off, we each enjoyed a piña colada – the perfect end to our Gràcia adventure.
