🌱 A Promising Start at ASANTE CAFE, Barcelona

a new plant-based spot called ASANTE CAFE. Tucked away in the heart of Barcelona, I recently discovered a new plant-based spot called ASANTE CAFE. It seems they’re still in their soft-opening phase, with a limited menu — but trust me, what they do serve is packed with flavor and creativity. The star of the show? Their vegan Eggs Benedict. It blew me away! The texture was surprisingly close to real egg, and the flavor was rich and savory — just the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite in happy disbelief. There’s room to refine a few final touches, but overall, it was seriously impressive. We also tried a toast with tomato spread and pesto — simple, but the quality of the bread elevated the dish. And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert: their Oreo cheesecake. Creamy, cheesy (in the best way!), and perfectly balanced — we later learned it’s made from soy, but there was absolutely no aftertaste. A total win. We chatted with the friendly team and found out that everything is homemade, which definitely deserves applause. They’re still finding their rhythm, but it’s clear this place has a lot of heart — and a lot of potential. Verdict? A delightful new addition to Barcelona’s vegan scene. I’ll definitely be back — and I fully recommend giving ASANTE CAFE a try while they’re still a hidden gem. 🌱✨ The location – https://maps.app.goo.gl/kFHG6cvuLuHcgwCA6

Discovering Veganashi: A Unique Sushi Experience in Barcelona

A Unique Sushi Experience in Barcelona . During my recent food adventure in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of visiting Veganashi – a one-of-a-kind vegan sushi spot that completely blew me away. This isn’t your typical sushi place. At Veganashi, everything is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free, offering a refreshing, healthy take on traditional Japanese cuisine. What makes it truly special is the creativity behind every bite — unexpected flavor combinations, vibrant ingredients, and an undeniable sense of freshness that makes each roll feel like a work of art. We enjoyed a variety of beautifully crafted dishes, starting with vegan gluten-free mushroom gyoza and beet ravioli filled with vegan cheese. We also tried a delicious tempura roll stuffed with veggies and cheese, and of course, the signature combo platter — packed with color, taste, and surprises. Naturally, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We shared a raw passionfruit cake, which pleasantly surprised me (and I’m not usually a raw dessert fan), and a vegan Snickers bar that, as a serious chocolate lover, I devoured in seconds. The magic behind Veganashi comes from Tais and Tamara, two inspiring women who bring together their passion for food, culture, and conscious living. Their vision goes far beyond sushi — it’s about celebrating veganism in a way that’s delicious, sustainable, and rooted in community. If you’re looking for a mindful and flavorful dining experience in Barcelona, Veganashi is an absolute must-visit. The location – https://g.co/kgs/6TDsNz2
